Live for Christ.

We are a church located in Lolo, Montana just south of Missoula in the Bitteroot Valley. We are non-denominational. We love God. We delight in His Grace, His Love, and His Laws. We believe that without Jesus Christ, we are without hope in this life and eternity. We desire to worship Him in song, word, and deed. We seek to understand God's Word as recorded in the Bible.

We believe that God calls Christians to live a life that glorifies Him, and that many times that may mean following a different path than the world. Although we affirm the importance of community, we do not believe in compromising God's Truth or the standards He has called us to, in order to draw people or to grow in numbers.

We believe that people who are deeply committed to Jesus Christ produce godly change. We believe that to become mature believers, study, prayer, Christian action, and total dependence on God's will is essential.

Statement of Faith

Our Authority

The Bible is the authoritative Word of God. It alone outlines and defines all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, the Bible is inspired, flawless, infallible, and inerrant. It is our guide for teaching, training, and equipping disciples. Prov. 30:5, 2 Tim 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21

The Godhead

There is one God who has manifest Himself as three separate personages: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are coexistent and coeternal. God is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, eternal, sovereign, and transcendent. Gen 1:26, Matt 3:16-17, Luke 1:35, 1 John 5:6-9, Ex 3:14, Judg. 13:18

Jesus Christ is God incarnate, the living Word. God’s one and only Son, born of a virgin birth. He came as a servant king to die on a cross, and on the third day resurrected from the dead. Because of this we have hope in eternal life with Him. John 1:1-4, Isa 9:6, Isa 7:14, 1 Tim 2:5, John 1:14, Phil 2:5-11, John 2:19, Matt 28:5-6

The Holy Spirit is one of the three distinct personages of God. He indwells the hearts and minds of all Christians. He is a Counselor and teacher. He convicts of our sin and testifies to the truth and power of Jesus Christ. Isa 11:2, John 14:26, 2 Cor 1:21-22, John 15:26

Sin

All men have sinned, none are righteous. Rom 3:23, Rom 3:10-12

The result of sin is eternal separation from God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.
Rom 6:23, Ezek 18:4

Redemption (deliverance from evil by the payment of a price)

Man, left to his own deeds, cannot reach heaven. Matt 19:25-26, Eph 2:8-10, Rom 3:28

Jesus Christ alone is the only sacrifice worthy enough to atone for the sins of man and to reconcile them to God. Rom 3:23-25, Rom 5:17, Heb 10:10, 1 John 2:1-2, Rev 5:1-9

Regeneration (to bring again to birth)

For anyone to know God, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential. John 3:3, John 6:44
John 6:65, 1 Peter 1:3-5, Titus 3:5-7, John 1:12-13

Salvation (Man is saved from his sin and its consequences through Jesus Christ.)

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ: His Lordship, death, burial, and resurrection. John 3:16, Rom 10:9-12, Acts 16:31, Gal 2:16

All who call on Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior, will be saved. Rom 10:13, Matt 7:7-8

Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of human effort. Eph 2:8-9, Titus 3:4-5

Discipleship

Mature Christians receive Jesus Christ not just as their personal Savior, but as the Lord of their lives. John 14:23, Col 2:6-7, 1 Peter 3:15
